Accepting the Melting Pot of Perception
September 28 | 2:00 pm
“I just don’t understand the way you think!” If you’ve ever thought or said these words, then this session is for you! Our background, experiences, and genetic blueprint all play a role in the way we prefer to think and perceive. Some may think more socially and conceptually, others may prefer to think more analytically and structurally. This tends to cause an intent impact gap which can lead to conflict and misunderstandings. It’s essential that we understand the melting pot of perception and gain a greater awareness of cognitive diversity. Becoming knowledgeable of thinking preferences will minimize the intent impact gap and help us communicate not only to others but for others.
