Everything changes but not everything evolves. Appropriately the August 2017 From the CEO letter in HR Magazine was titled: Don’t Just Adapt to Change – Lead It. This is exactly the focus of this keynote.

Reacting to what’s going on in your industry and profession, while commendable, will only allow you to be behind struggling to catch up. Looking beyond the near future into what the possibilities are and then leading the evolution is one of the key aspects of today’s best leaders.

The world is constantly changing. What was once a key issue might soon become nothing more then an afterthought. What was once deemed a distraction might soon be a focal point of business (social media). HR leaders stand on the forefront of evolving by having influence over hiring, training, analytics, and more to equip them with the tools needed to lead the evolution. Strategic thinking about the future is where HR can and will continue to flex it’s power.
