No. We cannot allow exhibitors to attend sessions without full conference registration. Many of our sessions are standing-room only. Therefore, for us to accurately accommodate our HR attendees, we must ensure that we recognize all full-conference attendees as such.

There are two (2) staff-only registrations included in each exhibitor package. Please refer to the event prospectus if you have a sponsorship level that included additional registrations. The max capacity is three (3) persons per 10′ x 10′ booth at one time.

There is WiFi in the hall. However, dedicated internet service must be ordered through our General Contractor.

No. All electricity must be ordered through our General Contractor.

Limited prime booths are available as part of our Passport Game. These booths will be able to take advantage of additional traffic produced by attendees being encouraged to receive passport stamps by visiting and engaging with prime booth partners. Floor stickers will guide attendees to prime booths. Booth location is selected by SHRM-Atlanta. Prime spaces have no relevance to actual location of booth.

If you are registering online, you will need a credit card to complete the transaction. If you need an invoice to pay via check, please fill out the paper registration form at the end of the prospectus.

Do I get a discount with my SHRM-Atlanta or SHRM membership?2019-01-14T20:59:35+00:00

SHRM-Atlanta members get a discounted rate for SOAHR, but please note that SHRM-Atlanta and SHRM are not the same organization. Membership in SHRM-Atlanta and SHRM are separate and independent of one another.

You can, however, access the SHRM-Atlanta member rate by registering for the Event+ option. Event+ registration includes one-year of SHRM-Atlanta membership and is a great option for first time members, lapsed members or current members (we will add one year to your current membership).

Becoming a member of both SHRM-Atlanta and SHRM is a worthy investment and we fully encourage you to join both.

We don’t want you to cancel! But if you must, our cancellation policy is the following:

Can’t make it? Can someone else from your office attend in your place? Substitutions are allowed; however, the non-member rate may apply. To transfer your registration please submit your request via email to info@SHRMAtlanta.org

Would you like to transfer an upcoming registration from one event to another? Requests for transfers must be made by March 11, 2019.

Cancellation Fees:
November 1, 2018 – January 4, 2019: $50
January 5 – February 4, 2019: $75
February 5 – March 11, 2019: $150

No refunds or transfer of fees will be made after the date of the event.

To be eligible for a refund, all cancellation refund requests must be submitted via e-mail to info@shrmatlanta.org. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.

Event+ registrations include one year of SHRM-Atlanta membership that becomes active once the registration has been processed. If you should cancel your registration the prevailing cancellation fee as well as the $149 membership fee will not be refunded.

Cancellations received after March 11, 2019 are completely non-refundable.

Will I earn SHRM/HRCI recertification credits?2019-01-14T20:59:36+00:00

SHRM and HRCI recertification credits can be earned on an hour-per-hour basis for time spent in educational sessions and the pre-conference workshop.

Recertification credit codes will be provided at the end of each session.

How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates?2019-01-14T20:59:36+00:00

SHRM-Atlanta has reserved a small block of rooms at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Convention Center. The room rate is $164.00 per night plus applicable state and local taxes.

NOTE: The deadline to make a reservation is March 5, 2018, or until the block is sold-out, whichever comes first.

Parking will be available at the Cobb Galleria Centre for a discounted rate of $5 per day.

How do I add the pre-conference workshop to my registration? Is it included in conference registration?2019-01-14T20:59:36+00:00

You can register for the pre-conference workshop when you register for SOAHR, or if you aren’t attending SOAHR, you can register for the workshop as a standalone event.

Registration for the pre-conference workshop is an additional charge (+$79) and not included in standard conference registration.

Individuals wanting to participate in one session must register for a one-day pass for that day; unfortunately SHRM-Atlanta does not allow unregistered attendees to come to sessions or other conference events.
